July 2026: Lives Transformed in the 4-14 Window (2X Match Continues!)

Imagine we told you the world’s ripest mission field is also the world’s least reached. Would you believe us?

The 4-14 Window. It represents the easiest window of time to win anyone to Jesus for life. It also represents one of the world’s least reached groups.

The vast majority of lifelong Christians receive Jesus between the ages of four and fourteen (National Association of Evangelicals, International Bible Society).

But almost 70% of kids those ages live in unreached cultures where they might never hear about Jesus (Transform World).

They’re riper for God’s touch than almost anyone else—but most never get one chance to encounter Jesus’s hope. Together, we’re changing that.

In this newsletter, we share dispatches from the frontlines of kids ministry, showing how you’re winning unreached children to Jesus from the villages of Laos to the brickyards of Pakistan. [P.S. — Two kids you freed from slavery wrote us all letters to share their stories. Don’t close before you read what they sent you!]

It’s time to win the 4-14 Window to Jesus—one soul at a time. (Our 20 Years of Hope 2x match fund presents the perfect opportunity!)

$20,000 for 20 Years of Message Ministries

Toddlers raced past D.’s coffee shop window—not on bicycles or on foot, but clinging tightly to their parents’ backs upon their motorcycles.

He’d seen those delivery families speed past hundreds of times—but today, he couldn’t ignore it.

“Why don’t you leave your kids at home?” he probed a nearby cyclist.

“If you crash, your kids will get hurt. The sun; the rain; the heat; the wind . . . it’s so dangerous for them.”

D. couldn’t fathom why any parent would put their kids in harm’s way. “What he didn’t realize—the parents were trying to protect them.

Not long before, stories of child fatalities had speckled the Thai news. Kids left home alone had drowned, been hit by cars, and more, facing terrible injuries and deaths. Sometimes, frail Thai grandparents had let the little ones run free…to their demise. Parents put up their guard. Moms and dads needed to work. But they couldn’t send kids to school on weekends—and wouldn’t dare leave the kids home alone.

That’s when it clicked for D.: Parents need to work to provide. Kids need care to survive. Both need the good news. “I’ll go back to my church and ask if we can offer weekend childcare,” he thought to himself. The rest was history.

From Hurdles to Harvest

At first, neighbors refused to send their kids to the new Christian daycare. “Many non-believers feared we’d force their kids to become Christians,” D. confided.

But resistance melted when neighbors saw the program’s impact on the kids. The first crew was small—but the transformation was palpable.

It started with three children. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., they heard Bible stories, sang worship songs, and learned how to pray to God, treat their parents with respect, pray before meals, and more. Their attitudes were totally transformed. Previously stubborn kids now filled their homes with singing. They prayed before meals—and for once, even respected their parents! “Our kid is so lovely now!” the parents said, according to D. “They even know how to pray!”

Those few parents spread the word to the neighbors, and the childcare grew. “Three became eight,” D. related. “Eight became fifteen. We told the parents—‘That’s all; we can’t receive any more kids!’ Well, after six months, we finally realized we were watching thirty-five children!”

With their hands full, they began hiring high school students as daycare workers, whom we now sponsor at $60/month each.

[This will loosen their funds to hire more chaperones, contact their neighbors, and expand to fifty or sixty kids—a powerful harbinger of harvest].

They had found a new successful children’s ministry model that won the hearts of even the most skeptical parents. And that was just the beginning.

Good News Daycare Spreads Across Asia

“Where did all these kids come from?”

Soon, our native partners began to catch on. D. explained: “When our pastors visited on weekends, they’d ask—‘Where did all these kids come from?’ I explained the daycare ministry, asking, ‘Why don’t you replicate this at your church? Let the parents work and have peace of mind—you take care of the kids.’”

Our native missionaries have adopted D.’s model in different ways.

  • Today, most of our partners in D.’s association host children’s activities every Sunday.
  • Two pastors have begun weekend daycares, serving about sixty kids each from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (J. in Thailand and S. in Laos).
  • Altogether, our partners in D.’s association are sharing Jesus with about six hundred kids weekly—and that doesn’t count gospel outreaches or our weekly ministries in Cambodia, India, Africa, and Peru.

Across the world, you’re discipling well over two thousand kids every week through our native missionaries, church planters, children’s homes, feeding centers, Christian schools, and more! Be encouraged, team—together, we’re winning the 4-14 Window to Jesus, one child at a time.

The Biblical Secret of Children’s Ministry

D. explained the biblical secret behind this fruitful ministry. “Jesus said, ‘Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.’ (Matthew 6:21 NIV). Children are the parents’ true treasure. If the children come to church, one day the parents hearts will be drawn to the church, too.”

Those aren’t empty words—he’s witnessed it across Southeast Asia.

  • In his daycare, four city families have already made serious commitments to Jesus.
  • In Laos, Pastor Ch. led seven families to Jesus last Christmas after winning their trust through the elementary school—and expects most of the village’s thirty families to receive Christ in the next three years.
  • In Pastor S.’s daycare, several kids aged ten to twelve keep asking to be baptized, they’re so excited about the Lord!
  • And in all the daycares, unbelieving parents have exchanged their resistance for eagerness as they’ve seen neighbor kids walk with praise songs in their hearts, prayers on their lips, and good attitudes in their homes.

D. summarized it powerfully: “The daycare becomes a bridge to the community. Before, many parents fear sending their kids to church. Then, they witness our love and care for their kids, and begin to see the church in a positive light.” Next, comes the beautiful final result—the Holy Spirit’s grand finale: “I’ve seen it,” D. shared with confident faith. “Most kids in the children’s programs grow up to become Christians.”

Let it be so, Lord. We’ll help fund the harvesters who work the field. May you cause the growth (1 Corinthians 3:6). From the villages of Laos to the brickyards of Pakistan, may you win great multitudes to yourself through our teamwork! Amen.
