July 2025: Pakistani Slaves Receive Clean Water & Audiobibles

Short of breath. bathed in sweat. Bodies limp with frailty; hearts pierced with hopelessness. This is daily life for millions of brickyard slaves in unreached Pakistan.

They need Jesus’s hope even more than unreached freedmen. But with your help, many have encountered Jesus’s kindness and tasted His new life. Here’s how you transformed enslaved lives in July through the ministry of Aneela [IAGM].

Finally! Clean Water After Generations of Disease

No one should fear death when they sip a cup of water. We take the privilege of clean water for granted—but not so for our enslaved brothers and sisters in Pakistan.

They toil to exhaustion daily in conditions we can’t fathom, but have never known the comfortable retreat of a reliable restroom, or the sweet, refreshing relief of a clean cup of water on demand.

For generations, their families have relied upon contaminated water, frequently contracting waterborne diseases such as cholera, dysentery, and typhoid as a result.

But now, with your help, they’re finally enjoying a new opportunity to live longer, healthier lives. Aneela shares the story:

“By God’s grace and your invaluable support, we recently secured funds for the installation of a much-needed hand pump for clean drinking water and a washroom facility at one brickyard. The absence of these essential resources posed significant health risks to the workers and their families. At first, the brickyard owner didn’t allow us to install, but we put these things in prayer, and finally, God melted his heart, and he agreed. He only said, ‘This is my personal land. If you want to install these things, you will have to pay for it.’ Thank you so much for meeting this need!”

We’re privileged to share Jesus’s love with these slaves in such a tangible way. But our clean water mission has only begun. We’d love to install sanitary water pumps and restrooms in seven more brickyards this year.

Would you like to help slave families live longer, healthier lives? You can sponsor a clean well and restroom for $850.

Most can’t sponsor an entire water project—but we’re deeply grateful to everyone who chips in towards the health of these priceless image-bearers of God.

Audio Bibles: Daily Hope for 100 Illiterate Slaves

Trapped in horrifying circumstances, Pakistani slaves long daily for hope, guidance, and security only God’s Word can provide. Tragically, most can’t read or afford Bibles, and many have never heard Jesus’s good news. Recently, we offered you the opportunity to send them $13 audio Bibles, and you rose to the occasion, paving the way for one hundred lives to find daily hope in Jesus.

In July, Aneela delivered your Urdu audio Bibles to one hundred Pakistani slaves in ten brickyards, and now, they’re enjoying Jesus’s guidance and breathing deep of His love. As she reported,

“This has inspired significant spiritual growth in their lives. The audio Bibles serve as vital sources of hope and encouragement, especially since their owner limits their time for prayer. This initiative nourishes their faith, bringing joy and fulfillment.”

Aneela also sent videos of several sponsees offering thanks for the Bibles. Their simple words reveal your impact so powerfully.

One woman, Azeera, said, “Thank you so much! We cannot read the Holy Bible, so you got us this audio Bible book so that we can listen to. You gave us this gift. We are very thankful.”
One man, Asif, said, “Hallelujah, brothers in Christ! I’m very glad we have received Bibles from you all. We are illiterate, but now, we’ll be able to learn by the grace of God! May God bless you all richly and be with you.”

Family of God, this is what it looks like to live as Jesus’s hands and feet.

Wouldn’t you love to join this beautiful harvest? You can still sponsor Bibles for $13 each at the button below.

A Final Reflection: Where Would Jesus Walk?

We end this letter with a question. If Jesus walked Earth today, where would He visit first—the elaborate halls of America’s megachurches, or the humble outdoor prayer meetings of these slave disciples? We think the question answers itself. “Though the LORD is exalted, he looks kindly on the lowly” (Psalm 138:6). “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me” (Matthew 25:40).

Unfortunately, we can’t all share Jesus’s love in person with Pakistani slaves. But through your prayers and donations, you minister to those priceless lives just the same. Hebrews 13:3 commands, “Remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.” Friend, thanks for obeying that sacred call.

Ready to reach the unreached today? If unsure how to start, we encourage you to sponsor a missionary for $100-$120/month, become a sender for $30/month, or donate today here.
