New Church Plant: How Ch. Brought Jesus’s Hope to an Unreached Village in Northern Myanmar

MEMBERS OF A REMOTE VILLAGE IN NORTHERN MYANMAR DESPERATELY NEEDED JESUS’S HOPE.

Oppressed, poor, unreached, and embroiled in civil war, many suffered aimless, fearful, and hopeless lives.

In came our new partner, Pastor Ch., venturing by motorbike through muddy forests and roads to reach these priceless souls Jesus died to save.

He often faces danger and risk on the way, but that didn’t stop him.
Pastor Ch. entered the village, launched English lessons, preached the gospel, and won many to Jesus. Now, he has planted a spiritual community where these fresh disciples can learn to thrive in Jesus’s hope.

Today, many villagers are turning a new page in their story.

They once were hopeless; now they cling to Jesus’s hope.
They once were aimless; now they follow the Savior who gave all for them.
They once were desperately afraid; now they can rest knowing their eternal future is secure.

Thank you, partners, for helping pastors like Ch. risk it all for Jesus’s call. The souls of the unreached are worth it.

But C’s work isn’t done. He plans to carry Jesus’s hope into 30 unreached villages in similar ways over the next ten years.
