November 2025: How to Reach 8 Kids for the Price of 1 Shoebox

Dec '25
Families usually run to one idea when they want to share Jesus at Christmas. “Why don’t we pack a Christmas shoebox with that big-name ministry?” That’s an amazing option for many churches and families. For others, The Christmas Blessing Project is an even better choice. Here’s why.
It costs about $40 to send a Christmas gift to the third-world through the shoebox ministry. That’s $30 for gifts [per their online packing tool] and a $10 required donation for shipping, overhead, gospel materials, and more. It’s powerful, but costly, so most families can only send a few, while others just skip.
Enter the Christmas Blessing Project. The middleman is gone. The American price hike on goods—gone. Air shipping, overhead, and fees—vanished. Now, a painless $5 donation sends a gift and the good news to a kid who might never have heard about the love of Jesus, and $250–$500 reaches a whole village.
Think about that—$250 to reach an unreached village! How many people can you reach through the shoebox ministry for the same price? About six. Through CBP? About fifty. You’re sending the same gospel, the same Holy Spirit, and the same Christmas joy. The only difference—you get to transform eight lives instead of one, or fifty instead of six.
Last year, one of our pastor friends compared the cost of the two outreaches and told us his conclusion: “We’ll just do the Christmas Blessing Project next year. We can reach so many more kids for the same amount of money!” We’d never heard anyone say it that way before—but it makes so much sense.
Maybe you love packing Christmas boxes, and that’s amazing. We simply offer this invitation: what if each of us also committed to reach eight kids for Jesus through CBP for $40—the cost of one shoebox? With a little teamwork, we can win hundreds to Christ in the 10/40 Window and beyond! Here’s what you need to know.
How You Can Share Jesus’s Joy This Christmas

Everyone should get the chance to hear the salvation story of Christmas. Tragically, almost half the world (42.2%) has scarcely heard Jesus’s good news.
Billions are grasping for hope and urgently need messengers of joy to show them the only way to God. This Christmas, you can become that messenger through the Christmas Blessing Project (CBP). Let’s send the message that will transform their destinies forever! Here’s how.
Soon, our global partners will share that message with thousands in Southeast Asia, India, Pakistan, Africa, and Peru. At thrilling local Christmas festivals, masses of unreached villagers will enjoy delicious meals, receive Christmas gifts, and encounter Jesus’s joy-igniting good news proclaimed in power—many for the first time in their lives.
We expect hundreds to receive Christ through these celebrations. In 18 years, God has used the Christmas Blessing Project to
evangelize tens of thousands of souls,
win thousands of disciples,
plant myriad village churches,
deliver Jesus’s healing and freedom to the afflicted,
and so much more.

and so much more.
We can’t wait for the harvest of CBP 2025—but we can’t reap it alone. Will you share Jesus’s joy this Christmas?
This story will give you a taste of what God can accomplish through your easy sponsorship.
Canceling Christmas: A CBP Story

“No! You will not host this Christmas event in my village.” The chief’s words entered our partners ears like a gut punch.
Pastor N. had already planned the outreach, invited the villagers, and begun preparing for spiritual breakthrough. But when the local shaman and chief caught wind, they teamed together to blockade the move of God. Now, our partner could only trust Jesus to make a way.
Would the Christmas Blessing Project be canceled after all?
First—Why CBP Matters

But first—what difference would it make anyway? How might that unreached village look in one year without the Christmas Blessing Project? The answer might surprise you.
If not for CBP and other holiday outreaches, many of our partner churches would remain mostly empty every Sunday. Our missionary partner in Asia explained why:
“Most here won’t truly listen to the good news until you build a relationship with them.” The problem is, those friendships aren’t easy to build: “Most only want their closest friends and family in their homes, and feel uncomfortable if you invite them to dinner without a reason. They’ll ask, ‘What’s the occasion?’ but won’t come. A holiday event is very different. The Christmas Blessing Project is the big event that opens people’s hearts and makes them willing to finally come to church. For us, Christmas is the biggest evangelism opportunity of the year.”
The spiritual impact of the Christmas Blessing Project is monumental. First, the outreaches break the social barrier. “Before the events,” our partner explained, “we see neighbors daily but only give a respectful greeting. After the outreaches, we actually spend time together at the table and get to know each other. Sometimes they even invite us to their homes and special events like weddings.”
Next, CBP breaks the spiritual barrier. Many receive Jesus on the day of the events, but the harvest keeps growing as our native missionaries preach Jesus through personal relationships and corporate ministry. How much? Last year, the number of new disciples grew 600 percent from December to February. The CBP harvest had grown six times larger in two months as brand-new village churches gradually filled with fresh believers thriving in Jesus’s joy.
Which brings us back to our village chief.
A Christmas Miracle from Jesus

The village chief’s daughter suddenly fell severely ill.
The shaman tried his most trusted rituals, but nothing worked. Doctors examined her but couldn’t diagnose her problem. Cornered by his daughter’s pain, the chief allowed our partner to pray for healing in Jesus’s name. The very next day, she woke up completely restored by God’s power. Jesus had healed her!
Only two days remained before the originally scheduled date of the Christmas Blessing Project. Moved by God’s mercy, the chief reversed his decision, allowing the outreach to continue. Two days later, the village gathered to share meals and hear Jesus’s Christmas story of salvation. The gospel took root, friendships formed, and a powerful work of salvation began. Today, seven out of the village’s forty families are following Jesus and receiving weekly discipleship. And it all began with the Christmas Blessing Project!
Let’s Win the Unreached to Jesus This Christmas?

Soon, our partners will host CBP celebrations throughout the 10/40 Window. Thousands will hear the good news, and we believe hundreds will receive Jesus. Would you like to play a role in their most important gospel outreach of the year?
It’s so simple. You can sponsor a gift and the gospel for an unreached villager for only $5 or sponsor an entire village outreach for about $250. Your gift will grant someone an opportunity to hear the good news and joyfully receive the Savior we celebrate on Christmas.
Sponsorship is easy. No packing. No fees or overhead. Simply
- CLICK Christmasblessingproject.com/sponsor, choose your preferred country and amount, and donate,
- PRAY for your sponsees (we’ll send a CBP prayer card to inspire you!); and
- TRANSFORM unreached lives with the joy of Jesus!
A Personal Note from Brian Weller

I want to wish you a very happy Thanksgiving! Living in the U.S.A., we all have so much more to thank God for than we realize—a home to live in, food to eat, a way to get around, and most of all, eternal life with Jesus Christ. For that reason, our hearts are full of gratitude, and like you, we want to share the blessings God has apportioned to us with those in need.
Unfortunately, billions don’t have those same privileges we thank God for daily. It’s only by God’s grace that we live in a country showered with earthly and heavenly blessings—so we know God wants us to share those earthly treasures with those in need. Amen!
The Christmas Blessing Project is an opportunity for us all to do just that, whether we have a little or a lot. I appeal to you to join us in meeting our goal of providing $5 gifts to thousands of children in over 70 locations in 10 countries. So far, we’ve received $5,000—20% of our $25,000 goal. Last year, God provided every need through the generous and caring hearts of His people, and we trust He’ll do the same this year. Let’s join together in prayer and action to make Christmas special for needy children worldwide. Thank you, and God bless you this upcoming Christmas season!
