Most Pakistani slaves feel they have nothing to anticipate in life. They’ve watched parents and grandparents suffer in the same conditions, so many expect their children and grandchildren to also die in the kilns. Only Jesus’s hope can give them purpose in such conditions.

To escape from slavery, Pakistani slaves would need to pay off exorbitant, sky-high-interest debts, or flee and never return. They have little chance of ever settling their dues—and if they try to escape, they’re likely to be shot and killed.

Worst of all, Pakistani slaves live in regions with minimal access to the gospel of Jesus. In Pakistan, about 99% of the population has never heard the excellent news about Jesus’s salvation. It’s one of the most unreached and persecuted nations in the world.
