Baptisms: New Believers Stand for Jesus in Persecuted and Unreached Laos

🎉Let’s celebrate these beautiful baptisms in unreached Laos! 🎉

We marvel at the courage of these new believers—freshly won to Jesus by our partner, Pastor S of FTS.

It’s not easy to follow Jesus in Laos, where persecution can rob your life and destroy your family in a moment.

Lao believers daily face the danger of oppressive authorities and neighbors, often being shunned, closely monitored, and even jailed for proclaiming Jesus.

Still, these budding disciples are willing to suffer rejection for the Savior who gave His life for them on the cross. They embody the call of 2 Corinthians 5:15 —

“And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again” (NIV).

Laos at a Glance

❌ Laos is the 21st most dangerous country for Christians to live in (Open Doors).
❌ About 5.8 million people in Laos haven’t heard Jesus’s message (Joshua Project).
✔️Still, Jesus is moving powerfully there, granting unshakeable hope to people like these.
