Ephesians 3:20 declares that God “is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” God is always moving forward, doing all He can, working with His people to fulfill His Kingdom plans. We should never doubt that! Instead, this promise should continually remind us to carry every need to His throne of grace and mercy.
With that in mind, this newsletter focuses on lifting our partners to God in prayer. As believers, prayer is our first ministry—and as 1 John 5:14 says, “This is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.” This month, let’s raise our voices to the Lord and ask Him to bless our partners with His strength, fill them with His power, and guide them with the wisdom they need to reach the lost and make disciples.
We thank God for such tremendous fruit in 2023 and pray for an even greater harvest this year. So much work remains unfinished in God’s great harvest. That work begins in prayer and only ends when the task is complete. What task? That of Jesus’s Great Commission: “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:19-20).
With that in mind, here’s a weekly prayer guide featuring several leaders we support monthly. Please take time to pray for these leaders each week! God will use our corporate prayers to radically impact their lives and those they reach. These are our co-laborers in the gospel of Jesus—they’re doing the work many of us can’t due to language barriers, geographical distance, finances, and more. We are their senders, and they are the goers!
