Christmas Blessing Project Update

2013 Christmas Blessing 1

Thank you for helping to make this year’s

Christmas Blessing Project such a success!

PERU – With your help, we provided gifts for all the children in the ten Loaves and Fishes Feeding Centers.  Additionally, we helped six other Peruvian churches minister to children and families by providing gifts and a special Christmas celebration.

Smiles were abundant as the children celebrated God’s love this Christmas in Peru!

2013 New Church mor 6th De Abril

2012 6th De Abril PreFab Church

The 6th de Abril region of Pachacutec is relentlessly growing as more families continue to move there seeking a low-cost place to live. The people are very poor! Until a few weeks ago, there was no permanent IMG_0965church facility. Pastor Carlos and Veronica have pursued an active ministry there for about three years at several makeshift, temporary locations.

And praise God! They now have a permanent facility which is already blessing their community. They are the area’s only church. Right before Christmas, the building pictured at the left was filled with children and adults celebrating God’s goodness.

Special thanks to Marco, Marcos, Pastor Fabian, Mike, Sean, Barry and so many others for making this blessed facility a reality. God is already doing amazing things there, with much more to come!  Gloria a Dios!

2013 New Home For Christmas

2012 Pachacutec - Angelica HouseThe woman in the picture with our Peru Coordinator, Marco, is Angelica. This woman donated her property for the church building in 6th de Abril. Angelica acted in faith and actually moved to a smaller home, farther down the mountain. We had no idea that she had no other permanent place to live!

We were so impressed and inspired by Angelica’s dedication, we ourselves stepped out in faith too and promised we would build her a home for Christmas. Thanks to our supporters (that’s you!) and the hard work of Marco and Marcos, Angelica’s home was completed just in time for Christmas.

Thank you for all of your prayers and donations which make all of these beautiful testimonies possible.  We give God the glory for everything!

In His service,  Brian Weller
