Over the last couple of years, I (Brian) have not traveled internationally except for one trip to Peru in November 2020 and my recent trip to Nicaragua. We are excited that the Lord is leading us to return to Peru in September to reconnect with the extraordinary leaders and churches we work with there. Anne and I plan to be there from September 2 to 13. JJ, Cynthia, Autumn, and William Weller for a whole month. We are praying for some beautiful, powerful times of ministry. Our goal is to help strengthen and encourage God’s people, reach the lost, and equip the churches for evangelism.
Over the last couple of years, without the expense of mission trips, we took on the support of more indigenous missionaries, pastors, and evangelists in the 10/40 window. We added five in India, one in Cambodia, one in Laos, one in Thailand, and three in Myanmar. Plus, we helped with many evangelistic outreaches and youth camps, built prefab homes, and more. We now send support to 33 indigenous ministers and ministries monthly. That includes 20 indigenous pastors, missionaries, and evangelists in the 10/40 window, including Cambodia, China, Laos, India, Myanmar, and Thailand. It also includes a children’s home in Laos, an orphanage in India, and a school in the slums outside of Delhi, India.
In Peru, we send monthly support to 8 children’s discipleship ministries, which also have a feeding program, and assist Pastor Fabian with prison ministry. We also sent funds to the countries we work in to provide tens of thousands of Share God’s Hope food bags throughout the pandemic. We give all praise, honor, and glory to God for all these things and, simultaneously, thank our mission supporters for their generosity, which made all these things possible. Gloria a Dios!
We praise God that by His grace and with your help, we haven’t missed sending monthly mission support to any of the above mentioned indigenous ministers and ministries. In order to do that, we did not put anything aside for “future” mission trips. Why? Because we believe our first and most important mission is to support indigenous ministry workers who are faithful to the call of God to reach the unreached in the 10/40 window! Also, to stand with strategic missionaries like Jim Randall, who train and equip these indigenous ministers.
